Travel through the hills and valleys of Latium, Umbria, and Tuscany via the Autostrade del Sole (Highway of the Sun).

Once in Florence, tour the Cathedral of St. Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Bapistry, and the Academy of Fine Arts, home of Michelangelo's David statue. Take some time to visit the Piazza Santa Croce, and enjoy the lively street vendors, gelato stands, and people-watching abound.

Before departing Florence and returning to Rome, you will go to the Piazzale Michelangelo lookout, allowing you to view the mesmerizing beauty of Florence from above.
