This half-day tour will serve you a wonderful opportunity of visiting the Sistine Chapel, displaying the finest art works of the Renaissance on its ceiling painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512. The ceiling of the large Sistine Chapel was built within the Vatican by Pope Sixtus IV (1477 to 1480). These paintings feature Biblical stories about the Creation, Downfall and Salvation of Humankind. This gallery illustrates the main article at Sistine Chapel ceiling.
