General Information
General terms and conditions. Find out what is included and not included, cancellation charges, payments and confirmations.
Rates include:
• Tolls, parking, luggage handling.
• Italian Taxes 10% IVA (VAT - Value Added Tax).
• Driving/guide service.
• Use of vehicle.
• Fuel and highway tolls.
The tour sequence may be altered to avoid congestions but always covering mentioned sights.
Rates do not include:
• Client's meals, food and beverages unless otherwise specified in the programs.
• Entrance fees to Museums or Monuments, gratuities at your discretion.
• Ferry tickets where required.
• Additional hours.
• Anything not expressly mentioned as included.
• Airport or dock transfers waiting time beyond the scheduled departure or commencement time.
Cancellation charges:
The client may partially or completely cancel the booking at any time before departure or commencement time. However cancellation fees will be levied as follows:
For cancellation received up to 46 days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, 25% of the total amount of the reservation is charged.
For cancellation received between 45 and 30 days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, 50% of the total amount of the reservation is charged.
For cancellation received between 29 and 15 days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, 75% of the total amount of the reservation is charged.
For cancellation received later than 14 days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, 100% of the total amount of the reservation is charged.
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
Driver In Italy accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express. No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced, or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.
Cancelling a booking with Driver In Italy will result in cancellation fees being applied by Driver In Italy, as outlined.
1 Event, Attraction, Entrances to Museums or Monuments, Ferry, Guided Services These are non-refundable in all circumstances.
2 Airport, Limousine or Passenger-Transfer Service These are non-refundable in all circumstances.
3 Gift Certificate These are non-refundable in all circumstances.
4 Tour or Package Commencing During a Special Event Period These are non-refundable in all circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, Trade Fairs, Public or National Holidays, School Holidays, New Year’s, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter.
Data Protection – All personal data including name, address, phone number, and credit card data will only be used internally by Driver In Italy for the purpose of conducting daily business. All personal data will be kept confidential and will not be shared or sold to 3rd parties .
Liability Clause - Driver in Italy is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service].
Payments and Confirmations:
With your reservation you will need to provide us with Visa, MasterCard or Amex data (Holder's name as it appears on the Card and his/her birth date, Number and Expiration Date) as a guarantee for the services being booked. Upon receipt of the Credit Card Data we will consider all services confirmed. Your card will be charged only after you receive final confirmation of all services booked from us. In order to serve you better we kindly request that you make your reservation as soon as possible. General conditions and rates are subject to change without prior notice.
