Dear Roberto, Our trip to Rome with Constantino from Driver in Italy was fantastic. We had requested in advance that our driver would give us an overview of the whole city in a way that allowed the younger members of our party (in their 40s) and the older members (in their early 80s) a chance to get a taste of the wonderful city of Rome. Constantino certainly achieved that. He took the minibus as close as possible to all of the main sites so that those unable to walk a long distance could get close St Peters, the Colliseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and some wondeful panaramic views of the city. There was opportuntity for those fit enough to take little walks at all of the main sites and those who wished to stay on the bus could do so. From the outset when Constantino picked us us from the cruise ship he was pleasant, informative and chatty. He had a great deal of knowledge of the history of the city and shared this with us all throughout the day. He went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our trip. We had asked in advance that the driver found us a restaurant with reasonable prices serving authentic Roman food and again Constantino organised this. We had a beautiful lunch in a lovely restaurant. He ended the day by finding us a superb ice-cream shop and treated us all to ice cream. Overall the 8 members of our party had an unforgetable day in Rome. Sincere thanks to your company and to our driver Constantino in particular. We will use you again if we are back in Italy in the future. Thanks

The internet is truly amazing. Doing random searches for drivers/guided tours of Rome we discovered Driver in Italy. From the web page on we found services that fitted our needs perfectly. We stopped all searches and focused exclusively on Driver in Italy for airport pickup for my family of 6 to guided tours of the Vatican, Coloseum, Forum and transport to our cruise ship. All of the drivers were exceptional in getting us to where we needed. They were charming, exceedingly helpful with all our needs, and always on schedule. Marco, our guide to the Vatican, outstandingly steered us through that labrynth displaying an incredible amount of knowledge, enriching our tour beyond expectation. Daniele was a wonderful host and tour guide, risking life and limb navigating the crazy streets of Rome! Those drivers are insane! We had a superb day out in Rome .Tino our driver was brilliant and we saw so much more than we would have done from a cruise line coach .There was so much to see and we saw most of it in a day which included journeys down impossibly narrow streets always ending up somewhere extremely interesting and usually world famous.Tino was spot on with his historical knowledge which made it even more absorbing All in all a fantastic trip which included an authentic lunch and a stop at an Italian ice cream parlour .Thanks for an unforgettable day

We were more than pleased with our three days with Drivers in Italy! Engaging Alberto delivered us to every place on our lengthy list, was knowledgeable in history, energetic, efficient and fun. We even saw the Pope-a surprise to all of us! Alberto provided for our special needs and comfort, could park on a dime, and we felt we were saying good-bye to a friend when he left us at the airport. Georgio was accommodating and conscientious in sharing the beautiful, romantic countryside away from hectic Rome. Upbeat and cheerful, he went all out for us visually and gastronomically. Our last stop was an incredible surprise. Constantino managed to squeeze us into our requested towns of Tuscany in spite of the hordes of holiday visitors. Ease and comfort for us! The beauty of the countryside surpassed our expectations as did Constantino's knowledge. I am so sorry that I didn't get to meet you in person, Richard, because I so enjoyed our E-mails while working out our trip plans. I believe that you made sure we had the most memorable trip possible and your suggestions were the best. Your company has put together a strong team of players who are complimentary and supportive of one another. We benefited from your efforts, and we are grateful for our good fortune in finding you.

Our day in Italy with your driver, Giorgio, was absolutely wonderful. We visited the two small towns where my grandparents were from and, due to Giorgio's persistence, found cousins in both we had never met! He translated our conversations with them for almost an hour in each place. We also visited several churches where our ancestors did the marble work and had Napoli-style pizza at a little restaurant overlooking vineyards and olive groves. Giorgio was very courteous and knowledgable on local history, customs and politics. It was an amazing day we will never forget.

Our main focus for our trip to Italy was to fulfill my father, Andrew Marchese's dream.  He always wanted to visit the birthplace of his father, Anzi.We began planning our trip by researching tour companies in Italy who would be willing to handle a 14 day tour for 5 people.  We discovered Anzi was a tiny town not very many guide companies were aware of until we contacted Driver In Italy.  Your company was the ONLY company who took an interest in our needs right from the start.  I received an e-mail & a Phone call from Richard, almost immediately!  This was the only phone call from a tour company, showing me genuine interest.  My family and I had come up with an itinerary which included 6 nights in Rome,travel and touring while there, travel to Sorrento for 6 more nights and touring, then a return to Rome for 2 nights rest until our departure for the US. We were also filming part of the tour for TV broadcast and on-line viewing from our Production House/Sam-Son Productions/TV Channel 13, based out of Hazleton,Pa. US.  From the moment we began planning the trip Roberto, Elena and Alejandro were very prompt with e-mails, phone calls and planning.  It was Richard who located Anzi and then took the time to find there was a relative of ours living in Anzi.  He even secured her phone # and tried to contact her along with my efforts.  Our prompt pick up at the airport was the beginning of the most fabulous trip we have ever experienced. My husband & I have traveled to many other countries but this was the most outstanding.  It was exactly as Roberto and I had planned!  This was all due to staff's friendly, professional, courteous, knowledge and genuine concern with our personal needs. Our father is 81 years old and, without our asking, everyone took care of him and us as if we was their family member. Alberto greeted us at the airport with such a happy demeanor and welcomed us in a manner we could only have expected from family.  His and Alberto's driving skills, knowledge of the country, history and English were very reassuring and enjoyable.  Alberto drove us to our Hotel & made sure we were ready for check-in and had the itinerary for the next day before leaving us. Our first day with him was a tour of Rome. It was delightful. He pointed out many things we had never heard of along with the main highlights.  All of our trips with Alberto were very pleasant & enjoyable.  In fact,we felt as if he was enjoying it as much as we were.  He kept it fresh and interesting for all of the hours we were in his care. The most outstanding moment in Rome was our visit to the Vatican to have an audience with the Pope.Roberto,at the office, had made the arrangements & with Alberto's help, we were able to be within arms reach of the Pope, an experience we will never forget!  Our in-depth 5 hour tour of the Vatican with an English guide, Dennis, was fascinating.  Dennis is very interesting & taught us so many facts about the Vatican,Museums,St.Peter's Basilica,the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo, the art paintings and all of the history.  It was extremely interesting.  Georgio drove us for a brief transport & was also very courteous and professional. Alberto drove us to Sorrento, also.  He,& all the drivers, stopped at very clean & accommodating places for us to refresh and get something to eat. We needed to exchange US dollars for Euros. This was, again, no problem with the drivers taking us to the exchange. Roberto was our driver for our day-trip to Anzi.  We did not have any knowledge of where it was or if we would find any relatives but were completely thrilled when we arrived in the tiny village.  Roberto asked the priest if he knew of the relative.  The priest made a call on his cell phone and within minutes a Maria Rosario Marchese was talking with him and Roberto, in Italian,of course.  I showed her information about my grandfather and his brother.It turned out that Maria's father and my grandfather were brothers.  My sisters,Marcia & Mary Jean,my husband,Sam & I will never forget the look on Maria and my father, Andrew's face.It was priceless!  Cousins who never met.  Roberto was able to translate for us & after sharing a meal, touring the town & finding the church which was duplicated in the town we live in in the US, we were invited to her home.  This was the original family homestead where my dad's father, Andrew Marchese, was born & raised. Thanks to Roberto and Driver in Italy, it was all possible.  Roberto shared in our feelings and did not hurry to leave the town. At every moment of our 14 day trip, we were a phone call away from Driver in Italy.  We were treated with respect, enjoyed a comfortable, cool, safe drive on all trips, were extremely pleased with the staff, service, recommendations and most of all the genuine care for all of our needs.  We feel that our trip to Italy was perfect and a lifetime memory because of Driver in Italy&the staff.  The places we traveled and the sights we saw could never have been realized on our own nor for the price we paid to Driver in Italy.  The entire experience was exactly as promised in the contract and as we requested.  You, Driver In Italy, were able to custom-make an itinerary of our needs, fulfilled them and so much more.  We highly recommend you to anyone reading this, our friends & family.  You are all you claim to be and more.  We will definitely be using Driver in Italy, again, in the future.  On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, we give them a 12.  EXCELLENT!!!! We would not plan travel to Italy without Driver In Italy!
