Florence is the capital city of Tuscany Region. Florence is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The historic centre of this city attracts millions of tourists each year. Pisa is best known over the world for its Leaning Tower and also contains more than 20 other historic churches, several palaces and various bridges across the River Arno.

Discover the unparalleled beauty of Pisa and Florence during this seamless shore excursion from Livorno. Disembark from your cruise ship in the morning, and meet your guide; because this is a private tour, you'll enjoy an intimate way of exploring the sights.
Upon arrival at Pisa, your first visit will be at the Cathedral complex in the magnificent "Piazza dei Miracoli", the large square home of Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and the beautiful Cathedral. You will see with your eyes the incredible Tower that was designed for being the bell tower of the close by Cathedral and that would stand 185 feet high. There is a 297 step spiral staircase inside the tower leading to the top. If all of some of you want to climb the tower... don't hesitate to ask us to reserve the skip-the-line admissions (ask us for pre-booking the tickets on your behalf, but remember that there is no elevator inside the tower, of course!)

Your first visit upon arriving in Florence will be at Piazzale Michelangelo terrace, which portrays the glorious panorama of the city. Once in the old-town pedestrian center, probably the first wonder you will encounter will be the immense Cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore. This Cathedral is one the major center of attraction for tourists and one of the largest churches in Italy, and until the modern era, the dome was the largest in the world. It remains the largest brick dome ever constructed, thanks to the genius of Brunelleschi who completed it in 1432. See Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery and the Piazza della Signoria. After giving a look at the scenic and iconic Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) on the Arno river, continue to the enormous Piazza Santa Croce. In the Roman times, this place was used to execute heretics, the square now boasts numerous charming boutiques other than being home of a marvelous Basilica.
The Galleria dell'Academia is one of the top museums in Florence mainly because it is the home to Michelangelo's David sculpture. The statue of David, which was moved in this museum in 1873, ranks amongst the top masterpieces of the Italian Art.
