Ancient walls, castles and pretty town will welcome you in this full day excursion

A panoramic drive of Rhodes will take you to Mandraki Harbour, the Post Office, Town Hall, and Evangelismos, and then to Monte Smith Hill, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Aegean and the City of Rhodes. You will go past the ancient Rhodes Acropolis, dedicated to Zeus Polieus, Athena Polias and Pythian Apollo (four columns of it have been reconstructed), as well as the ancient Theatre and Stadium dating back to the 2nd century BC, both of which have been restored. You will then move on to the D?Amboise Gate of the Medieval City, where you will leave your vehicle to visit the Grand Masters Palace, the most imposing building of medieval Rhodes. Originally built in the 14th century, this is the most imposing building in Rhodes. Demolished by an explosion in 1856, it was restored in 1939 during the Italian occupation. You will walk along the Street of the Knights which, although some of its buildings have been restored has remained unchanged over the past 500 years. The Gothic style of the buildings and of the characteristic Inns of the various "Tongues" is strikingly original and well worth a visit. Now reboard your vehicle at the Kolona Gate for your trip to Lindos. The one-hour drive along the East Coast of the island will take you through different landscapes and many villages, including the village of Archangelos, where you will be given a demonstration of handmade pottery is produced. Finally you will arrive at Lindos, known as the "Jewel of the Island," the most attractive village on Rhodes. There you will be having a guided visit of the Acropolis, including the Great Stoa, the Temple of Athena Lindia (4th century BC), the ancient theatre, and the remains of the temple of Dionysus. You will also be touring the picturesque village, with its characteristic houses, many of which date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Finally you will come to the 15th century medieval church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which is famous for its icons and frescoes.
