The discovery and exploration of this tour begins upon your arrival in Catania. Here you will have time to walk and explore the historic places and buildings including Piazza Duomo, famous above all for the unique Elephant Obelisk located in the center.
You will see the Benedictine Monastery, one of the largest in Europe and the most important cultural centers in Sicily. This center now serves as the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the University of Catania.
As you travel along the Coast of the Cyclops, don't miss the opportunity to pass by the Bellini Gardens which extend over 45 square miles and contain various avenues, squares, bridges, borders and fountains.
You will also stop to photograph the famous Norman Aci Castello, built in 1076 AD. on a hill of lava rock, and the panoramic view of the Cyclops Islands, before being dropped off at the port of Messina.
